Worshipping our God
Worship is the centerpiece of who we are and what we do. Worship focuses upon the Triune God of grace, for we recognize that on the Lord's Day we come into the Father's presence in union with Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit to receive God's gifts of forgiveness, instruction, and communion. Worship is participational as we respond to these gifts with thanksgiving, offerings and praise. Worship is guided by Scripture, expositional in its teaching, sensitive to the liturgical tradition of the Reformation and engaging and intelligible to people today.
Caring for one another
As the body of Christ we are to mature and grow up into Him who is the Head, that is Christ. We are to be transformed by the renewing of our minds through the ministry of the Word of God by the power of the Holy Spirit. This mandate of discipleship is commanded in Scripture, initiated in baptism, and fulfilled through godly and incisive instruction. We recognize that one of our greatest responsibilities is the nurture of our children in the faith. As a church we take seriously our membership vows to assist each other in this endeavor.

Sacrificial living
The life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ is the transforming act of God revealing His character and filling out His promise to be our God that we might be His people. The Gospel declares the reign of Jesus Christ and the arrival of His kingdom. By the working of God in Christ and through the Holy Spirit our lives are conformed to the image of His Son for the glory of God's name and the building of His kingdom. In this way our sacrificial living is cruciform.
We are united to Christ by faith and enjoy union and communion in Christ with one another. Together we pursue godliness which entails embodying our faith and knowledge of the truth of the Gospel uniting liturgy and life in the reverent service of God.
Psalm 119:5-8
Oh, that my ways were steadfast in obeying your decrees! Then I would not be put to shame when I consider all your commands. I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws. I will obey your decrees; do not utterly forsake me.
